MJ is seeking a Junior Structural Engineer to join our widely respected and diverse Civil/Facilities Division.
This position provides a tremendous growth opportunity for a career-minded Building Structural Engineer interested in advancing their career and joining MJ’s award-winning firm. Our role includes developing and preparing structural design calculations and construction plans for new facilities and rehabilitation of existing facilities throughout the East Coast.
Successful candidates must be technically well-versed with a solid understanding of structural design.
This position may require some fieldwork and travel.

Desired Skills and Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s in Civil/Structural Engineering with MS preferred.
- EIT certification or ability to obtain within 6 months.
- Solid technical background.
- Strong communication skills & good organizational skills.
- Familiarity with National Building Codes, Specs, Design standards and Revit BIM software.
Pay Range

The pay range listed in this posting is an approximation and representation of our good faith effort to provide the anticipated salary range. The specific salary offered may be influenced by a variety of factors, which may include, but are not limited to the candidate’s work location, relevant experience, educational background, licensure or certifications, and capabilities compared to the requirements of the advertised position.
Pay Range: $32 – $37 / hour depending on experience.
